About me and my practice
My practice is online, ith all the ethics and confidentiality expected by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Experience
Child and Young people psychotherapist for the last 22 years. Also with specialty in neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, adhd and learning disabilities). Managed 2 day centres for children with autism, learning disabilities and conduct disorders. Created the TaMHS (Targeted Mental Health in Schools) for NELFT CAMHS, delivered it, managing the teachers lerning in mental health, support the staff and parents in 6 schools.
Adult psychotherapy.
I provide online psychotherapy either to help parents with children with developmental disorders, trauma, depression, adoption, anxiety and school problems, as well as to adolescents and adults.
My first training was in psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as cognitive therapy.
I've also trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
My approach is what best suits the client.
Also includes psychoeducation.
Experience with children victims of war and also veterans.
I belong to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Registered Member.
U.K. trained, but living in Portugal in the last 11 years.
